Good news for family caregivers! Access to the free online training Designated Family Care Partner PPE & IPAC Training Program has been extended until March 2021.
It is offered to Albertans through a partnership with the Canadian Red Cross as well as our members, Dementia Network Calgary, Caregivers Alberta, and Alzheimer Society of Calgary. Not only will this course help those who are designated essential support persons adhere to Safe Visiting Practices as outlined in the public order but it also provides training in the appropriate use of PPE.
This free program is valued at $50 and provides certification for three years. You can find out more and register here.
