The Health Coalition of Alberta started out as a small group of volunteers who wanted to support and drive patient advocacy in Alberta. Over the years, that has expanded into our current Coalition of patient groups, patients and concerned individuals who are focused on improving access to health care for all Albertans. With more than 100 members, the Health Coalition of Alberta is growing every year. The strength of our membership gives the Coalition our voice to bring forward issues of concern, solutions and opportunities for improvement.
Membership fees are voluntary but are certainly a key component of our funding. We benefit not only from financial contributions through membership fees but also through gifts in kind as our members volunteer their expertise and skills to help us accomplish our goals.
